Vacuum Heat Treatment
China and Switzerland introduced Fulcrum vacuum high-pressure gas quenching furnace, using vacuum heat treatment process. Different from the traditional salt bath heat treatment, vacuum heat treatment has the following benefits.
■ Protection
Vacuum heat treatment is heat treatment in a vacuum environment, which can effectively prevent the steel from causing oxidation reaction during heat treatment, so that the material can maintain the original bright surface after heat treatment.
■ Degassing
In the vacuum environment will reduce the solubility of gas in the metal, so that gas impurities released from the material, after vacuum heat treatment of metal materials compared with regular heat treatment, mechanical properties, especially plasticity and toughness have significantly improved.
■ Degreasing effect
Vacuum heat treatment can decompose the coolant and lubricant remaining on the surface of the material during the cutting process, decompose it into hydrogen, water and carbon dioxide, and then take it away by the vacuum pump to achieve degreasing effect, and then achieve a smooth surface without oxidation and corrosion.
